The pipeline

Work enters DocMark through whichever door fits you — the web app, the REST API, your own AI assistant over MCP, or a watched folder on your own network. The REST API and MCP ship today in the self-managed options (on-prem and your own cloud tenant); on the DocMark-managed cloud they are available now, alongside the web app. From there, every job follows the same path.

Author. Your people write the content, or — where you allow it — AI does: outlines, drafts, charts, even cited web research. You choose per deployment option how much AI is involved, from none at all to fully agentic authoring.

Render and brand. With every engine except the optional agentic one, this step is never AI. Deterministic, tested code turns the authored content into your deliverable, applying your committed brand specification — colors, fonts, logos, layouts. Pixels never come from a model, so the output is reproducible and on-brand by construction. (The agentic engine, for self-managed deployments only, is the exception: an AI agent writes and runs the build script. See security.)

Verify. Before anything is delivered, it passes a deterministic verification gate: decks are read for slides carrying nothing a reader could see, then rendered and checked for blank (single-colour) slides, documents and workbooks get structural checks, and output that fails is withheld with findings rather than delivered. What each check covers, and where it doesn’t apply. This is the step most document generators skip.

When the gate says no

A deliverable that fails verification is withheld — you never receive it. Instead you (or the AI assistant that submitted the job) receive precise findings: what failed, where, and why. An AI caller can fix the content and resubmit in the same session; the loop continues until the deliverable passes or the caller stops.

What you get with every deliverable

• The verified document itself (deck, report, model, newsletter, or video).
• A confidentiality label (decks sent in through the watched folder of a self-managed deployment) — its egress class, written by the pipeline, not by hand.
• A provenance record — exactly which version of your brand specification produced it.

DocMark produces the artifacts your client-facing teams actually ship. Status labels below are honest: shipped means in production today; roadmap means planned and not yet available. Today, decks, documents, charts & dashboards, video, newsletters, and brochures are all live.

Beyond deliverables, your committed brand spec is designed to export as branded BI themes — a Power BI theme and a Tableau colour palette generated from the same colours and fonts, so your dashboards match your decks (on the roadmap). (DocMark would theme your BI tools; it doesn’t build the report.)

Presentations

On-brand PowerPoint decks, verified slide by slide. The flagship — shipped.

From a brief, a content file, or an AI-authored outline, DocMark produces a native PowerPoint deck in your brand: your templates, your type scale, your chart palette, your logo rules. Then the verification gate renders every slide and checks it for blank (single-colour) slides — deeper checks (logo placement, colour compliance, text overflow) are on the roadmap — before the deck is delivered with its provenance record.

Documents

Status: shipped — in the workspace (access by invitation) and over the /v1 API. DocMark renders into your own corporate Word template (.dotx) — your chrome, your named styles win.

Reports, memos, and white papers as native .docx, built on real heading, paragraph, and table styles in your brand’s fonts and colours rather than ad-hoc formatting — so the documents behave correctly when your team keeps editing them. Same pipeline and provenance record as every other format, with a structural gate suited to documents: a torn, blank or truncated .docx is withheld rather than delivered.

Charts & dashboards

Branded Excel charts and dashboards — your data rendered in your corporate palette. Shipped.

Status: shipped — in the workspace (access by invitation) and over the /v1 API.

“Branded” here means the charts and dashboards — not a logo stamped on a sheet. You bring your data (paste it in the workspace, or send a structured spec to the API) and DocMark renders native Excel charts in your corporate palette — your colours and fonts — as a clean .xlsx workbook. Same provenance record as every other format, with a structural gate suited to workbooks: a torn or empty file is withheld rather than delivered, and the workbook is scanned to confirm it carries no macro project.

On the roadmap: dropping these charts straight into a branded slide deck, and recalculating formula workbooks. Today the workbook ships with the data and chart values rendered in your brand.

Newsletter

Branded newsletter graphics — fund updates, market commentary, briefings — as a single image you drop into any email or newsletter tool. Shipped.

Status: shipped — in the workspace (access by invitation) and over the /v1 API.

Branded client newsletters and recurring updates — fund updates, market commentary, deal briefings — built from your update items (a heading and a short paragraph each) in your brand’s colours, fonts, and logo. The output is a single, polished image (PNG): the universal format that drops into any newsletter tool, email client, or social post — upload it, paste it, attach it. No integration, no sending pipeline, no “does it render in Outlook” — an image renders identically everywhere.

It’s a graphic, so it has no clickable links inside it — add your links and send button around it in your email tool. Same brand specification and verification as every other DocMark format.

Brochure

Branded multi-page PDF documents — capability sheets, product overviews, prospect leave-behinds — designed from a topic. Shipped.

Evergreen branded PDF documents — capability sheets, product and service overviews, prospect leave-behinds. Give a topic; DocMark designs a multi-page, varied-layout document in your brand — the same design engine as your decks — and delivers it as a PDF for sharing, printing, and attaching (selectable text, real pages). Video

Branded narrated presentation video, rendered from your branded deck — shipped. A consented synthetic presenter (likeness + voice) is on the roadmap.
